About Gabriel Curtis Wilkinson

Greetings and Salutations to the world that will be viewing this page.

I have invited you here today to take a look at what I’m creating, professionally on many different levels.  I’m using this blog as an opportunity to reach out to a larger community to show off my many talents and perhaps find employment that is both gainful and enjoyable for the creative dreamer that I am.

Yes, I am a creative dreamer.  I’ve spent most of my life with my head in the clouds thinking of ways to create that movie in my minds eye or to write that perfect melody and find that awesome font that says everything it needs to say to a client or another artist.

I’ve worked in television for the last 12 years first as a production assistant and then as a commercial producer for the last 11 years, writing, shooting, directing and editing local television commercials for local clients.  I produced 250+ commercials a year as well as special events and television specials like The Perfect Home and The Good Life.

I also blogged for KWWL.com as Critical Mass a blog focusing on entertainment in the Cedar Valley and through out the rest of the Midwest with interviews and reviews of both local and national talent.

I also have extensive training in the theatre arts and stay quite active with the university theatre here in my home town and my alma mater.  Not only do I work in the theatre once or twice a year as a guest artist I sit on the board of directors for S.T.A.G.E. Inc (the last two years as the boards president) a volunteer organization in charge of raising money and giving scholarships to students who fulfill both academic and involvement requirements.

I’ve continued my writing with the national electronic music magazine COMA Music Magazine and with the niche film online magazine Exploitation Retrospective.

Please take a look around and see what I have to offer you as an employee or as a freelance writer or designer.
